Know and Post Your Resources

Requirements

  • No class time; teacher prep only

How it Works

  • Familiarize yourself with the mental (and physical) health resources available in your school. Click here for your school district’s resources.
  • List the resources in a format that is easy to read, with a prominent headline such as “Get to Know Our Support Resources.”
  • Post the list in a prominent place in the classroom, and make an announcement to draw the class’ attention to it.

Benefits

Even if you are not comfortable delving deeply into the topic of mental health during class, taking these simple steps shows your students that you care about their well-being and are there to help them connect with the resources they need.
